The 1st Davao del Norte Ready Reserve Battalion is the organization of Philippine Army Reservist of the Province of Davao del Norte pursuant to RA 7077, otherwise known as the Reservist Act of the Philippines. It represents the total force of well-trained, readily mobilizable and expandable backed up reserve force in this part of Mindanao. Since its inception, the unit has always been committed and keen in the conduct of its duties and responsibilities, as a partner of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Provincial Government in its mission, among others, in assisting Relief and Rescue Operations during disasters or calamities and participating in socio-economic developing activities.
